Playing the same numbers for 10 years finally paid off for LOTTO 6/49 winner Jean-Claude Raiche of Bathurst.

The 71-year-old father and grandfather won over $9 million and was presented with his cheque today at Atlantic Lottery Corp.'s headquarters in Moncton.

His wife didn't believe him at first when Ray Scott told her he had won $50 million.

Scott, who lives in Fort Kent, Alta., said he's always joked about winning the lottery, so when he told his wife they had actually hit the jackpot she was dubious.
