Anyone who loves playing the lottery will know it's super hard to look away from a big jackpot. You'll also know that some of the biggest jackpots are associated with just two names: Mega Millions and Powerball. But knowing that fact is the easy bit. Working out which one you should be spending your money on is a lot harder.
The person who bought a winning Powerball ticket from a Sacramento 7-Eleven store has finally come forward, reports CBS Sacramento.
Newspaper and internet media photos showed a composed, slightly smiling older woman being shepherded from the lottery office. She looked fairly relaxed for someone who decided to receive her winnings in a lump-sum payment... an astounding $370.8 million before taxes.

A single lottery ticket sold in Arizona won Wednesday's Powerball jackpot of $473.1 million.
The winning numbers in the drawing were 11, 36, 61, 62 and 68. The Powerball number was 4. Strong sales caused the jackpot to climb beyond estimates.
The ticket was bought at a QuikTrip convenience store in Gilbert, a suburb of Phoenix, John Gilliland of the Arizona Lottery said. The identity of the winner is not yet known, but they can choose to take a lump sum payment of $283.3 million.
