New interview with $220.3 million Powerball winner Brad Duke

Since winning the Powerball jackpot in 2005, Idaho resident Brad Duke has made few appearances over the years after his win. But he appeared in this interview last month with KTVB for the 30th anniversary of Powerball which had its inaugural drawing on April 19, 1992.

He is one of 36 Idaho residents who have won Powerball prizes over the past 30 years, making them millionaires. The USA Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Powerball winner bought $473 million ticket in Arizona but hasn't claimed it yet

A single lottery ticket sold in Arizona won Wednesday's Powerball jackpot of $473.1 million.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 11, 36, 61, 62 and 68. The Powerball number was 4. Strong sales caused the jackpot to climb beyond estimates.

The ticket was bought at a QuikTrip convenience store in Gilbert, a suburb of Phoenix, John Gilliland of the Arizona Lottery said. The identity of the winner is not yet known, but they can choose to take a lump sum payment of $283.3 million.
