It's not often you see giant lottery balls floating down the Thames River, or embedded in the wall of a building. But for ad agency threepipe this was an opportunity to think big when they were chosen to publicise the UK National Lottery recently.
The agency spokesman said they have seen the Thames used for many a stunt before, but never on this scale, and also never at night.
This ad is part of a series created for the UK National Lottery. We hope the winner would move to a place with more space, but considering that today's jackpot is only £2.2 million (US$3.6 million) and England's property prices, maybe it's just a dream so far.
Did this Indian-themed New York Lotto commercial ever make it to primetime tv? The elaborately shot 1999 ad starred then-unknown actor Bipasha Basu, and created a minor scandal in India because it featured her as a topless princess.
The artistic ad directed by Tommy Kane surfaced a few years ago on YouTube, but many sites now block it with this notice: 'This video contains content from UMPG Publishing, who has blocked it on copyright grounds.' THIS New York Lottery ad for their WIN4 game was designed to make you think. We think it works, sort of. The ad agency, DDB, said each spot depicts the character or subject doing something out of order, resulting in an unusual circumstance; getting dressed and then showering, trying on a jacket and walking out of the store with it on before paying, and so on. Riveting.
