Gus the Groundhog is returning to the Pennsylvania Lottery! VIDEO: 16 WNEP

Many lotteries have mascots, and the Pennsylvania Lottery had Gus the Groundhog until 2012. Here's one of the ads from back then:

But when was retired back in 2012, the Lottery found that players missed him as one of the two famous groundhogs in the state. So he was returned.

The other groundhog icon of course is Pennsylvania's Punxsutawney Phil, renowned for his predictions of the weather in winter.

So three years later Gus made a comeback for the Pennsylvania Lottery and featured in tv commercials like this one below.
