Every single one of 264 Pick-3 lottery tickets each won a $500 prize for lucky winner

In a remarkable set of lucky draws, a Charlottesville man won $500 from each one of his 264 Pick-3 tickets in two separate games.
In the first prize-winning game, winner Jalen Taylor got $52,000 in a single Pick-3 drawing using 104 tickets. Each one had the winning three-digit combination of 9-6-0 in the November 18, 2021 drawing.

Then just over eight weeks later he did it again, winning $80,000 with 160 tickets. The winning combination this time was 5-4-2 in the January 10 drawing.
So in those two drawings, Jalen Taylor had won a total of $132,000 in less than two months.
Taylor didn’t say how he picked the numbers.
Pick-3 players have a choice of any three-digit number sequence from 000 to 999.
“I had a feeling,” he told Virginia Lottery officials later. “When you get a feeling, just play!”
He bought the tickets for his first win at the Food Lion store at 1740 Timberwood Boulevard in Charlottesville.
Then he bought his tickets for his second big win at Harris Teeter located at 975 Emmet Street in Charlottesville.
Mr. Taylor said he intends to save his winnings and invest.

ABOUT PICK 3: Pick 3 drawings are held daily at 1:59 p.m. and 11 p.m. The top prize for a $1 play is $500. The chances of matching all three numbers in exact order are 1 in 1,000.
