In the world of instant lottery wins, November 2023 turned out to be a remarkable month for the following top three states.
Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania led the charge with an impressive $176 million in scratch-off prize claims.
The Keystone State's windfall outshone other significant winnings from across the country, including big claims from Florida and Texas.
Pennsylvania's lottery success story saw two top prizes worth $1 million each being claimed by players from Northampton and Luzerne counties.
As well as these major wins, a shared $1 million top prize made its way to four players from Allegheny County.
The total winnings like these continue to draw in players with the promise of life-changing rewards.
Florida
Meanwhile, down in Florida, the lottery scene was equally buzzing with excitement.
The "FLORIDA 300X THE CASH" game awarded three out of four $15 million top prizes, adding up to a staggering $45 million.
But that wasn't all; fourteen lucky players walked away with $1 million each from the same game, contributing an additional $14 million to the prize pot.
Other notable wins in the Sunshine State included the "PAYDAY BONUS" and "SEVEN FIGURES" games, each doling out millions to fortunate ticket holders.
"DIAMOND MINE 20X" and "FLORIDA 100X THE CASH" also created millionaires, with the former paying out two $1 million prizes, and the latter four $2 million prizes.
The "FLORIDA 50X THE CASH" game wasn't far behind, with a $1 million prize claim.
All told, Florida's November lottery games brought smiles to many, with a total claim amount reaching $77 million, excluding many of the smaller games which will increase the total slightly.
Texas
Texas, not to be left behind in the lottery stakes, also reported significant wins.
Texas itself made headlines with its "$20 Million Supreme" game offering a top prize of $20 million.
As of December 2023, this game, identified as Game No. 2400, boasted over $829 million in total prizes.
The game was particularly remarkable for its high ticket price of $100 and its substantial top prize of $20 million.
The game initially had four grand prizes of $20 million, and as of the latest update, three of these top prizes had been claimed, leaving one still available.
Other significant prizes in the game included 25 prizes of $100,000, with 16 of these already claimed, and 259 prizes of $10,000, with 157 claimed.
The game also offered numerous lower-tier prizes ranging from $150 to $1,000, with several thousand of these prizes still remaining to be claimed.
All states win
The "BILLION DOLLAR EXTRAVAGANZA" from Massachusetts led the list with a top prize of $25 million, closely followed by Florida's "500X THE CASH" with the same top prize amount.
But it's not just the big prizes that make the lottery exciting. Across all states, smaller prizes also contribute to the thrill and appeal of these games.
In Pennsylvania, apart from the million-dollar prizes, players claimed six $500,000 prizes, three $300,000 prizes, two $250,000 prizes, seven $200,000 prizes, one $150,000 prize, and three $100,000 prizes.
