Hungry cat misses dinner TWICE as owners forget about him after they win $1.2 million lottery

Andrew Hancock rushed to a local gas station when he realized he had forgotten to pick up cat food for their 6-year-old cat, Shortcake.
Andrew, 46, and his wife Paula, 43, who run a catering business together, had forgotten the cat's dinner.
Andrew said: "We'd had about a 10-12-hour shift and on the way home I said 'I'm going to nip home, and on the way I'll get some food for tea for tonight and I'll get some cat food'.
But Andrew picked up a Monopoly Millionaire scratch-off card instead of dinner from the Esso Fuel Station in Ollerton.
In the rush of excitement after realising he had landed them a seven-figure jackpot, Andrew forgot to buy the ginger tom's food again.
But luckily he remembered later, and Shortcake was treated to a dinner of ham to celebrate the family's good fortune.

The couple, who live near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire in UK, now plan on enjoying some time off with a holiday to Australia and other trips abroad, they told The Sun.
But so far, the only purchase they have made is a new phone for their 12-year-old son Xavier.
