ODDITY: Collector Couple Look For Gnome-Home After $1.5 Million Lottery Win

Trish and Craig Tuft go gnome-crazy as they celebrate their $1.6 million EuroMillions win.

A couple from Chester, UK, are celebrating today after winning £1,069,748 (US$1.6M) on last week’s EuroMillions Mega Friday draw.

The top of their shopping list is a new home with a garden big enough to house their beloved gnome collection.

You couldn't make it up - the gnomes wave goodbye to their cramped home.

Trish and Craig, 51, immediately handed in their notices and are planning a dream holiday.

Trish Tuft says, "I just could not believe it. I checked my ticket on the television and it matched – I just screamed – I have never screamed so loudly in my life."

"Craig really thought something bad had happened – and then I told him ‘no, no, we have won the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw and we have banked more than £1m!'
