Lottery winners don't quit while they're ahead. They keep playing and winning.

When James Harrison won $1 million last October in the North Carolina Lottery's '$200 Million Blowout' game, he didn't think of giving up a lifetime of playing. And so the inevitable happened - he won again just a few months later with a $200,000 win in '20 Times The Cash.'

"Four months ago I won a million bucks," said James Harrison. "Who'd ever have thought I'd come back for $200,000 more. I'm even more excited over this one."

The retired catfish farmer used the first prize to make a trip, pay off their son's house, buy a boat and get some new cars.

With the extra win after tax of $138,501, the Harrisons say they'll replace the roof on their house.

OUR TAKE: What has happened is not rare. Many lottery winners continue playing and some of them are successful again for one reason - they persist.

Of all the traits that lead to success in the lottery as well as life's accomplishment, persistence has to be the biggest factor for many patient players.
