Mom Sues Daughter Over Lottery Winnings After Facelift And Tummy Tuck!

Linza Ford claimed a winning million dollar scratch-off in November 2012 and allowed her mother, Barbara Quiles, to dip into her bank account. The battle three years later is hotting up.

Her Brooklyn based mother used it to pay off debts, care for her younger sister, tuition and healthcare costs, according to court papers.

"I thought the lottery ticket would help me obtain an education and better my life," she said.

"Instead, the money has restricted my ability to receive financial aid towards my education and turned (Quiles) against me," Ford wrote in an affidavit.

In May 2014, Ford and Quiles’ relationship soured when she realized the funds were misused for a face lift, tummy tuck, breast reduction surgery and oral implants, Ford’s filings say.

"I was left to care for my little sister, study for college and hold down a part-time job," she wrote.

The funds caused a years-long rift between the women, as Quiles, 52, claimed she “authorized” her daughter to cash the winning ticket on her behalf
