What day of the week should you play the lottery?
The jackpot is all his! Andrew 'Jack' Whittaker didn't share his West Virginia Powerball win of $314 million with anyone else.
Here's a little-known tip that is largely ignored by most other lottery players - which means it will give you a real advantage.
If you don't want to share your prize with lots of other winners, you need to play when they don't.
When you play the less popular days - often the mid-week games - you reduce the chance of sharing a major prize with other winners.
For example, 7 Mega Millions winners shared a $1.75 million prize. That came down to $250,000 each. Not bad, but certainly a lot less than claiming almost $2 million for yourself!
And in the same game 92 winners received $10,000 each... but it could have been nearly a million for you alone if 91 winners had different numbers.
When you select which day to play your lotto game, play the off-peak games for greater profits.
For some of you this could be a mid-week game... say a Tuesday or Wednesday instead of the popular Saturday game.
This is because the mid-week games are played by fewer players. And if a smaller number of players are involved, the odds for winning and sharing a greater part of the win are dramatically improved for you.
To find out which days are the least popular, go down to your local lotto store in off-peak times and simply ask them! You'll be surprised what you can find out about the habits of your fellow players.
Ask them which days are the LEAST popular for your game. You can do this by just chatting casually to staff and asking which day is the busiest.
Then play that least used day of the week as often as you can. Simple as that!
One way to bypass this problem is to use my Winner's Circle. You won't have to worry about selecting, paying for tickets or choosing the day of the week... it's all done for you!
