I have a number of self-imposed rules in my life that keep me out of trouble:

• I don't climb up roofs or high places. I know a lot of men who have fallen from ladders and roofs and hurt themselves permanently.

• I never beep my horn at anyone in anger. You never know if they have an issue, or are just bad drivers.

• I never give to beggars but always to buskers. I like to reward people who have talent or are trying to make some progress in life.

• I always make my bed after leaving it. That sets up the whole day. If the bed is a mess, then so am I.

• I never travel the same road each time if I can help it. Variety is the spice of life, and a fresh road is an adventure each time which awakens the mind and keeps you active.

• I password-protect everything. Enough said.

• I always lock my car at the service station while gassing up and paying. You never know.

• Life is risky. But you can take it too far. So I never take part in sports with a record of problems... parachuting, bungy jumping, mountain climbing, stock car racing, cycling on the main roads. Yes, I've done most of these at one time, but today is different.

There is an important point I discover each day about rules. While I follow my own lottery system and rules - most others don't.

That's why there are people who don't win the lottery, because they try to add their own interpretation to my rules, and they fail.

What are my rules for winning that you absolutely MUST stick to? Easy, there are only three of them:

RULE #1 - Play the games with the LOWEST number of balls and numbers.
