Man Forced To Buy Two Lottery Tickets To Break $100 Note Is Left Speechless

When Massachusetts man Richard Noll wanted to change a $100 bill to buy lunch, he had no idea what was going to happen next.

It began when he bought two 'Platinum Millions' lottery tickets from Lanzilli Groceria in East Boston to break the $100 bill.

He needed smaller bills because he wanted to stop at a nearby sandwich shop and pay cash for his lunch.

And just a few days later Massachusetts Lottery officials confirmed he had won $10 million from one of those tickets.

Richard Noll chose the cash option, and will receive a one-time payment of $6.5 million, minus taxes.

Mr Noll, from Revere, a city in the state of Massachusetts, has now said that he plans to buy a new house, make investments on the cash, and perhaps most importantly, take his granddaughter to Walt Disney World.

Lanzilli’s Grocery, which ranks 10th among the state’s top lottery sales retailers, will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Noll is the third $10 million Platinum Millions prize winner since the game was launched in 2013, the Lottery said.
