These are the 5 luckiest top-selling lottery ticket stores in Chicago ever

The Illinois Lottery have announced the luckiest lottery retailers in the Chicago area as a promotion to celebrate Patrick’s Day last week.

The lottery organization revealed the top 5 stores that have sold the most tickets ever, to celebrate the ‘luck of the Irish’ last Thursday.

On Wednesday, the day before, they offered players in those retail stores a giveaway to win four instant tickets through a drawing from a pot pf gold.

The 5 stores with the biggest sales in the Illinois Lottery’s history since the first draw in 1974 were:

#1. Lucky Mart: 2900 W. 87th St, Wrightwood neighborhood

#2. Mare’s Mini Mart and Deli: 7850 W. Addison St, Belmont Heights neighborhood

#3. Glenwood Amstar: 18659 S. Halsted St, Glenwood

#4. Amoco Food Shop: 1955 W. Cermak Rd, Heart of Chicago neighborhood

#5. BP Gas Station: 4443 S. Ashland Ave, Back of the Yards neighborhood

Other retailers taking part in the instant ticket giveaway were in the top 10 ‘luckiest’ stores in Illinois, having sold the most total winning tickets.
