She used her mind to pick the numbers and the amount, and in 2007 it came true. Cynthia Stafford wanted $112 million from the California Mega Millions lottery, and used her birthdate to get the winning $67 million lump sum payout.
Her trick, she revealed, is that she would 'visualize winning' each time she purchased a ticket, picking whatever random numbers first came to mind. It worked, though unfortunately Cynthia lost it all in 2016 after some bad investments. See how some winners pick their lucky tickets in this video.
