What are the odds of this being repeated? A NASCAR speedway and lottery commission created the largest scratch-off ticket ever made, setting a new Guinness World Record.

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway and New Hampshire Lottery Commission built the giant-size card ahead of the Sylvania 300 NASCAR race in 2011.

The enormous scratch ticket, measuring 36.2 feet tall and 18.8 feet wide, dwarfed all previous size records.

The new record-breaking scratch card was a replica of the $1 million Cash Spectacular tickets on sale at the race track by the New Hampshire Lottery Commission, according to Guinness World Records.

The ticket was so large that it had to be bolted to the side of the grandstands for display.

The previous record for the largest scratch ticket was held by the Golden Casket Lottery in Australia, but New Hampshire's colossal ticket surpassed it by a significant margin.

This record-setting scratch card was a replica of the $1 million Cash Spectacular tickets that were on sale at the race track by the New Hampshire Lottery Commission.

It was a spectacular sight, drawing the attention of attendees and participants alike.

Norman Blanchette from South Hampton, Massachusetts, had the unique honor of being chosen to scratch off this life-sized ticket.

He used a scissor lift to reach the numbers and successfully scratched the sections.

Blanchette also won an extraordinary prize - a VIP experience to the 2012 LENOX Industrial Tools 301 July NASCAR weekend.

His prize package included a helicopter ride to the race, two suite seats, and a visit to the track's victory lane after the race.

Doug Blais, an independent surveyor from Southern New Hampshire University, was tasked with the official measurement of the ticket, under the watchful eye of Guinness World Record adjudicator Philip Robertson.

After a thorough inspection and measurement, the ticket was confirmed to have set a new world record.

The event was a major highlight of the weekend's festivities.

To cap off the event, the New Hampshire Lottery announced that they would be giving away $1 million to one lucky guest during the SYLVANIA 300 pre-race ceremonies.

For the attendees at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, it was an unforgettable spectacle that highlighted the excitement and fun of both the lottery and NASCAR racing.
