Take a look at the $2.04 BILLION Powerball winner's mansion in the Hollywood Hills

When you have a big win, you buy big. Welcome to this exclusive tour of the stunning $25.5 million Hollywood Hills mansion owned by Edwin Castro.

The lucky $2 Billion Powerball winner won his record-breaking prize in February 2023.

For those readers outside of the US, Powerball is an incredibly popular lottery game offered in 45 states, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Powerball is operated by the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL), a nonprofit organization owned and operated by its member lotteries.

Because the potential winnings are pooled from multiple states, the jackpot grows immensely. The largest lottery jackpot to date was on November 7, 2022.

A ticket was sold at a gas station in Altadena, California. The winner, Edwin Castro, is responsible for buying this mega mansion in the Hollywood Hills for over $25 million.

Lottery officials confirmed that Castro opted for the lump-sum payment of $997.6 million, which he received upon claiming his winning ticket just last month.

Alternatively, he could have chosen to receive his prize in 30 graduated payments over 29 years.

Castro wasted no time investing his newfound wealth into the purchase of a stunning new property.

The expansive property boasts five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and over 13,500 square feet of living space. Despite initially being listed for $29.95 million, Castro secured a slight discount on the home.

The property, designed by Roman James Design and located behind private gates above the renowned Chateau Marmont, features an array of luxurious amenities.

Described as an "entertainer's dream," the property offers a game room, wine cellar, movie theater, bar, and fitness studio with hot and cold plunge options.

The exterior of the property boasts an infinity pool, a spa, two fire pits, and a built-in barbecue area. According to the previous listing, panoramic views stretching from downtown L.A. to Century City can be enjoyed through a wall of Fleetwood glass doors.

Constructed in 2022, the primary living space features a fireplace, a dining area, and an open kitchen with elegant black granite countertops. An impressive double-height stairwell leads to the upper level, which houses the primary suite.

The spacious bedroom offers a private balcony and a luxurious spa-inspired bathroom. Additionally, the property features a rooftop deck and a five-car showroom for automobile enthusiasts.
