Sydney's Monday Lotto $1 Million Winner Reveals He Played The Same Numbers Weekly For 25 Years

The Hoxton Park Newsagency in Sydney's western suburbs where the Lotto winner bought his tickets.
If money was a reward for persistence, then $1 million would be a good figure for it.
Because it took the anonymous winner 25 long years playing the same numbers to win that amount last week.
And the man from Sydney's south-west was in total shock after he was told he had won a $1million jackpot in the Monday Lotto Division One draw.
When told the news by a lotteries rep the overjoyed man's reaction was priceless: "Are you freaking serious?"
"No! No! You’re not serious! I can’t believe it."
"I don't like jokes like this early in the morning," he said after receiving the phone call from NSW Lotteries.
"Wow I'm so lucky! You're kidding me! Thank you, thank you very much! If I could I would hug you right now."
The unnamed Sydneysider said he had never missed a week playing the numbers: 21, 26, 33, 35, 36, 37, 39 and 42.
"Oh my god! I was ready, waiting for this moment – I always believed that one day I would win something! I had a feeling!
"I’ve played these same numbers every week for 25 years I didn’t miss one week, honestly!"
Lance Lagudi is the owner of Hoxton Park Newsagency and was thrilled to have made a customer a millionaire.
“What amazing news for our division one winning customer who has now become a millionaire overnight!” Mr Lagudi exclaimed.
“It’s very exciting to have sold the only division one winning entry in last night’s draw! We wish our winning customer all the best with their new found fortune.”
The winner said it will be the best Christmas ever for him. "This has not just made my day but my life!"
The winning numbers were 39, 33, 42, 26, 37 and 35. The supplementary numbers were 21 and 36.
Across Australia, it was the only division one winning entry for draw 3612, which offers a guaranteed $1 million division one prize for up to four winners in every draw.
