Lottery winner says he saw his $1 million Australian jackpot numbers in a dream

An Australian man in his 40s won a $ 1 million lottery using numbers he saw in a dream 13 years ago.
The hardworking man who preferred to remain anonymous is from East Devonport, Tasmania, and held the only Division 1 winning entry.
This gave him the guaranteed division one prize of $1 million plus several other divisions, making a total of $1,021,797.85.

"I’ve been playing these numbers for 13 years. I dreamt them one night – they appeared in my dream. I woke up and wrote them down, and I’ve been playing them ever since."
“I thought one day I would see them all there. I hadn’t given up on them!" he told officials.
“They’ve won other prizes over the years, but this is the biggest prize so far."

In addition to winning division one, the Tasmanian’s marked entry also won division two 6 times, division three 6 times, and division four 15 times, bolstering his total prize to $1,021,797.85.
Confirming his win with a Tatts official, the man confessed he’d known about his new millionaire status for nearly a week.
“I checked my ticket online and discovered the news. I was just stunned. I’ve just had to let it sink in a bit,” he laughed. “It took a bit to get over it!"
“They’re certainly my lucky numbers so I’ll still keep playing them.”
When asked how he might use his million-dollar Lotto windfall, the man shared he had yet to make any firm decisions.
“With this one, I just don’t know yet,” he said. “I’ve still turned up to work today!”
The winner bought his winning entry at East Devonport Newsagency, 71 Wright Street, East Devonport.

“This is the first time we’ve sold a division one winning entry since we bought the store three and a half years ago,” she explained.
“We’ll be decorating the store to ensure all of our customers know we’ve sold a division one winning entry.”
