Guess What These Motorcycling Fans Did With $1.5 Million Lotto Gift

The Bradleys decided that they wanted something to reflect their passion for motorcycles and gardening.

Their grandfather had gifted Chris and Geraldine Bradley £1 million (US$1.2M) from his lottery win. So they wanted to use part of it for their garden.

The couple, who live in south west Wales, are massive biking fans and said that the clipped topiary is a monument to their passion.

Chris said: “I’ve loved riding motorbikes for as long as I can remember."

"My dad and grandfather had my first bike specially made for me when I was four years old, and I carried on riding into my teens. I even competed for a while.

Chris currently owns four bikes - two Harleys, a Yamaha and a Suzuki, but the new addition is his most environmentally-friendly bike of them all.

He added: “I don’t get out on my bike as often as I would like so the new addition to the garden will be a great reminder whenever I look outside.”

The topiary bike will be looked after by green-fingered Chris who is the family gardener, but as a former hairdresser, it is likely that Geraldine will be doing the most detailed pruning.

Chris’s grandfather Bob Bradley won the family fortune when he scooped £3,570,063 in the National Lottery on his 83rd birthday in March 2006, but sadly died a year later.

He gave £1 million each to his son Barry and his grandson Chris.
