Truck drivers can make a nice paycheck on the road. But it would take many lifetimes of driving to equal the payday Mechanicsville trucker Steven Peloquin earned last week.
While on a stop at Penn 80/Flying J Travel Plaza in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania earlier this month Peloquin bought the winning Mega Millions ticket.

He claimed his $91,781,644.00 prize Wednesday July 29, 2015 at the Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters. Peloquin has refused to be interviewed or photographed since the win.

Lottery officials said Peloquin has spent nearly 30 years as a professional truck driver and was passing through the state for work on when he made the lucky purchase.
His numbers matched all the winning numbers in the July 21 drawing. The winning ticket correctly matched all five white balls, 20-30-62-65-74, plus the Megaball, 01.
The ticket had an annuity value of $153 million or a cash value of $91.8 million, less 25 percent federal withholding. Paloquin chose to take the $91.8 million.

Paloquin did not instantly know he was a millionaire. It took him a few days after the drawing to check his ticket.
“I was getting ready to turn in last Saturday night when I went online to check my numbers,” Peloquin told lottery officials. “Needless to say, I didn’t get to sleep that night.”
Peloquin said his new found fortune would allow him to retire early and spend more time with his wife and family.
Peloquin's win is the fourth-largest prize in Pennsylvania Lottery history.
