Maybe he wasn't quite yawning, but Philip Dunning gave an understated response to UK National Lottery operator. It was probably shock when he confirmed his ticket had scooped the jackpot.

The win was £7.8 million (US$12M). Philip Dunning struggled to find the words to comprehend how he was feeling after learning he had become a millionaire, reported the Daily Mail.

As the news slowly started to sink in the 44-year-old food processing worker managed to thank the National Lottery call handler who broke the good news.

Mr Dunning was told he had hit the jackpot when he phoned the National Lottery to check his winning ticket.

A recording of the call has been released by the National Lottery in which he appears to take the news incredibly calmly.

The father-of-two starts by saying: 'Erm, I believe I have the winning jackpot ticket from last night's lottery draw. I'm shaking like a leaf here.'

The call handler confirms he has won a staggering £7,864,529 which is greeted with the one word 'Lovely.'

Philip, of Bo'ness, Falkirk, said: 'I kept the winning ticket in my wallet. I kept checking it throughout my shift, just to make sure it was still there.'

His partner of 11 years, Gina, and Philip say their first spending priorities will be a new house, and swapping their Vauxhall Astra for an Aston Martin.
