In 1996, this happy Canadian couple matched all six numbers to win a $2.7 million Lotto 6/49 jackpot.

Then eighteen years later their numbers matched again - and they won the guaranteed $1 million prize, reported the Nanaimo Daily News.

The Gulkas heard that a winning ticket worth $1 million was sold in Nanaimo and immediately checked their numbers online.

They quickly realized their ticket was the winner... and that they had just won a major prize on Lotto 6/49 a second time.

Charlene says they were stunned when they realized they had won for the second time.

"I couldn't believe it, I still can't believe. We just kind of looked at each other," she recalled.

"The ticket has been in my purse and with me the whole time. It is just as exciting as the first time."

The couple says their second win will not be their last. "We want to go for a hat-trick," added Charlene.
