ODDITY: One-In-A-Million $2 Million Win After Grandmother's Chinese Dinner
/A grandmother won $2 million on Powerball using numbers she found inside a fortune cookie from a Chinese restaurant meal last week.

The grandmother of eight who lives in the Bronx, said she was surprised but pleased to have won and now plans to invest most of the money. She will spend some of it on a holiday to visit relatives in Switzerland.
"We didn’t tell anybody," Duvoll explained to the New York Post. "I put the winning ticket in a safe place."
Sammy's Noodle Bar and Grill in Greenwich Village where Emma discovered her lucky fortune cookie numbers.The 75-year-old’s lucky numbers were 5, 12, 15, 27 and 38. Unfortunately she missed out on the Powerball number, 7, which would have landed her a share of the day’s $193 million jackpot.
