Artists turn 35,000 discarded lottery tickets into a lifesize Lamborghini
Adam Eckstrom and Lauren Was, the Brooklyn artists behind "Ghost of a Dream" car sculptures, turned 35,000 losing lottery tickets into a lifesize Lamborghini work of art.
The couple intended it to symbolize the gap between dreams and reality, and this project became an exhibition in 2012 in New York.
Their meeting at the Rhode Island School of Design inspired them to create a physical symbol of unfulfilled dreams.

They did this by joining people's global desire for riches with a status symbol created from lost and failed elements of luck and letdown.
Their work was intended to show how fleeting material success is, and given the chance, how we all aspire to a better life.
