A claim has been received on Tuesday for the biggest £184 million EuroMillions jackpot prize won by a single UK ticket-holder, lottery owner Camelot said.

After going unclaimed for weeks, the largest Lotto Max $70 million jackpot has been won by a lottery player in the Prairies. Dale McEwan, Saskatchewan, is the largest-ever lottery winner in Western Canada. The winning numbers in the draw were 7, 10, 18, 29, 38, 43, 50 and the bonus number was 41.

Dale McEwan won the $70 million Lotto Max jackpot in April. But he didn't even buy the ticket in his home province. Dale, who actually bought his ticket in Dunmore, Alta., claimed the prize after a lengthy verification process.

This new prize amount surpasses the previous record set by a Calgary winner in October 2019, who won $65 million. VIDEO: Global News

Powerball winner bought $473 million ticket in Arizona but hasn't claimed it yet

A single lottery ticket sold in Arizona won Wednesday's Powerball jackpot of $473.1 million.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 11, 36, 61, 62 and 68. The Powerball number was 4. Strong sales caused the jackpot to climb beyond estimates.

The ticket was bought at a QuikTrip convenience store in Gilbert, a suburb of Phoenix, John Gilliland of the Arizona Lottery said. The identity of the winner is not yet known, but they can choose to take a lump sum payment of $283.3 million.
