Manny Pacquiao, a celebrated Filipino boxer known for his achievements in the flyweight category, had also ventured into business outside of his sports career.
He was known to own a lottery outlet, a business in the Philippines where people purchase tickets for the various government lottery games.
The Philippine Lottery System (PLS), is managed by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Pacquiao, a legendary figure in boxing, has had a remarkable career filled with significant achievements.
Notably, he is the only boxer in history to win twelve major world titles in eight different weight divisions.
He also made history by becoming the first boxer to win the lineal championship in five different weight divisions.
Among his many accolades, Pacquiao was named the "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2000s by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA), the WBC, the WBO, and HBO.
He also earned the title of "Fighter of the Year" three times from both The Ring magazine and BWAA, in 2006, 2008, and 2009, and received the "Best Fighter ESPY Award" in 2009 and 2011.
His influence extends beyond the boxing ring, as he has also been recognized as one of the greatest sportsmen of the 21st century and the greatest Asian boxer of all time.
