What do you give a pooch who has everything? How about a touch of royalty?

Susan Crossland, a dog lover who won £1.2million (US$1.5M) on the UK lottery in 2008 has splashed out on a pooch-sized Windsor Castle replica for her pet.

She hired London set designer The Russell Beck Studio to create the two-metre-tall castle model, which is based on the castle’s King George IV Gate.

It took a lengthy 244 hours to make, but look at Archie’s face – isn’t it worth it?

‘I love royal weddings and I love the royals,’ explains Susan. ‘I just thought it might be a bit quirky to have something nice for Archie, so I had him a Windsor Castle made and he absolutely loves it.’

She’s planning on hosting a BBQ party and imagines the 10-year-old Lhasa Apso will be ‘just be pottering about in his Windsor Castle’ ‘

‘Archie is obviously a big part of the family so we couldn’t have him missing out,’ she adds. ‘We love to spoil him.’
