There's a man underneath this walking pile of cash made for a Georgia Lottery tv commercial
This custom prop costume that featured a walking pile of money was built for a Georgia Lottery television commercial.
And it was complicated to build according to the constructors.
The money pile was only 3 feet tall but it had over a thousand individual blocks that made up the costume.
At the finish around 1,200 blocks in total were custom-made from foam to save unnecessary weight.
They were wrapped with fake money on the sides, top and bottom.
While this reduced overall weight, it was also the most time-consuming part of the entire build.
The costume was made of foam and fake bills and only weighed 20 pounds.
Because this costume was going to be used in close-up shots, the edges and corners had to be crisp and sharp.
At the finish of construction it weighed under 20 pounds, and was apparently quite easy for the actor to wear for the two days the tv commercial took to film.
