Pre-School Children Can Now Play Lotto, But Is This Board Game Legal?
The 'Lotto' game designed for pre-schoolers. Can this be right? PHOTO: Amazon
Yes, it's advertised as a 'lotto' game for kids aged 3+ to play. But maybe we need to check and see more information about this game. In the ad there’s a warning: “WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.”
The product description at Amazon even confirms that young children can play lotto: "3 years & up. Be the first player to collect all six tiles to fill a lotto card and win! 2-6 players."
The legal age for playing most lotteries around the world is 18. However, we think that maybe the game’s name is just a general term for this board game and it doesn’t look like a regular lottery.
