How to instantly tell which lottery photo has been photoshopped in less than 10 seconds

They have the same face and background, but are different checks. So which one is the genuine check-holder?   Photo: Supplied

I was redirected to a spammy website recently. Now, normally I would click away, but something caught my attention. The photo looked very familiar. So I did a "Search Google for Image" and guess what I found?

The photo on the left has been photoshopped to promote the scam website.

The real photo on the right is of course from our stories on $220 million Powerball winner Brad Duke:

These days it's easy enough to check back on photos and images in this way in a matter of a few seconds.

Try it on any website you're curious about. In the Google web browser, just right-click on any image and select "Search Google for Image" or a similar request.

And no - it's not a good way to promote any product this way when they use a photo as well-known as the Brad Duke one.
