Five Overnight Lottery Millionaires Reveal What They REALLY Spend Their Cash On

Lottery winner Geraldine Bradley, 46, of Llanelli, South Wales had never ridden a motorbike before, but treated herself to a £7,000 Honda and now goes racing every weekend.

A group of UK National Lottery winners revealed the most special purchases they've made with their winnings.

But instead of the fancy cars and houses you might expect from people who have suddenly found themselves wealthier than they ever dreamed, their most meaningful buys are a lot more surprising.

The Daily Mail rounded up these winners and their stories:

Susan Herdman, 47, Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire bought a £25,000 racing car within a few months of her win of over £1 million in 2010.

John Walsh, 63, has built his own bar in the home he shares in Childwall, Liverpool with his wife Margaret, 59. He's fitted it out with mirrors from the pub where they first met and a bell from their old school.

Jamie Grieve, 26, from Lowestoft, Suffolk sensibly used his £1 million windfall to fund his own business, which customises cars, bikes and interiors.

Michelle Edwards of Martock, Somerset also used some of her £1.9 million winnings to set up her own business. She spent £14,000 renovating a building which is now the premises for her luxury cake company.
