Gambling Addict Kim Zolciak Lost $250,000 But Still Bought $1240 Of Scratch-Offs
Popular reality TV star Kim Kim Zolciak-Biermann - who had a mini-stroke on Thursday and withdrew from Dancing With The Stars - revealed to the NY Post that she had a gambling addiction.
It appears Kim Zolciak was addicted to wigs, Louis Vuitton - and now, the lottery.
The slim mother of six, 36, spent a whopping $1,240 on scratch off tickets on the way to Destin, Florida for a family vacation. She won $36.
The gas-station shopping spree was captured for her Bravo show, “Don’t Be Tardy…”
“I love to gamble, but there is no casino here in Georgia, so the only way to get my thrill is to buy scratch-offs,” she said, before revealing she once took a huge hit in the Bahamas losing $250,000.

“I feel really great. I don’t know if you know but I rehearsed on Saturday,” she said, explaining that she practiced a routine for tonight’s show but was advised by doctors that she should not fly to Los Angeles.
“I can dance, I just can’t fly,” the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star told abc news. “I’m really sad.”
Her oldest daughters are well aware of their mom’s addiction. “You cannot stop her, she gets into the zone,” said Brielle. “Especially with her online gambling.”
In a short post on the show’s official website, Kroy Biermann’s wife said gambling is her love.
OUR TAKE: Winning $36 for over a thousand-dollar scratch card play is not a good return. The prizes for scratchies are often lower than most lotteries, and there's little way of knowing whether the main prizes have been taken.
The lottery gives greater prizes with less investment and still remains the best type of game to play.
