It's to keep them grounded. That's the reason Gillian Bayford gave for only handing out £3 (US$4.70) weekly to each of her two children.
The EuroMillions winner, recently separated from her husband, says her children had to work for their money.

"Aimee and Cameron get £3 each week as long as they keep their rooms clean and tidy and make their beds every morning," she told the Daily Mail.
She says that she has taught them that if they want things they can save and work for it. She doesn’t want the kids to be spoilt and ‘get things just because I have the money’.

Gillian Bayford said she still wants to be a normal mum and doesn’t want to see her two kids Aimee, nine, and Cameron, seven, to grow up spoilt.
She has said she still likes to do regular things with the kids like going to activities like cubs and brownies.
