Manassie Vaughan explains why he wasn't that excited about the win.

When you've made a lot of money in business over the years, explained winner Manassie Vaughan, $500,000 just doesn't move the needle enough.

This comment raised eyebrows with tv commentators while he was interviewed. But his comment quite obviously didn't appear in the official Virginia Lottery video.

Vaughan matched all six numbers in the Bank A Million October 3 drawing. Since he split his $2 wager when he bought the ticket, he had two sets of numbers.

This doubled his chances to win. Using the “Play Your Way” feature, he won $500,000 on one of his sets of numbers.

The winning numbers were 4-12-17-18-23-36. The Bonus Ball number was 10, although he didn’t need it to win the top prize, officials said.
