Retired Restaurant Owner Turns $15 Lottery Win Into $1 Million

A retired restaurant owner in Oswego County was handed a $1 million check on Tuesday for winning the New York State Lottery.
Barbara Krupke had stopped at Kinney Drugs on Rome Road in Pulaski to pick up birdseed when she decided to try her luck with the lottery.
Barbara is presented with her $1 million check.
She won the $1 million prize with a $10 Set For Life ticket and a $5 ticket for 25X The Cash, which she purchased with $15 she’d won on previous lottery tickets.

Krupke chose to take her winnings in one lump sum, which means she will receive a total of $502,968. She said she would use the money to give back to her family.
